Common Examination :-

Conducting common entrance examinations for students of standards I-VIII, IX and XI leaving standards VIII, X and XII to the government to conduct the examinations.

Setting question papers :-

Setting questions papers for all subjects in the curriculum mindful of the proposition that examinations should test the pupil's inventiveness, learning ability, decision-making and approach to problems.

Keeping the above in view the BEU gets questions papers set by experts and scholars in the subjects of thier speciality. The BEU also keeps itself abreast of the orders of the government in regard to changes in syllabus, textbooks and schedule of govenrment examinations which are promptly reflected in the common examintaions and tests program of the BEU.

Meticulous care is taken to see that the question papers reach their destination on time. A New Dimension :-

A new dimension is being added to the examination program of the BEU from now on. It is a new service designed to help the students who sucessfully complete their higher secondary school cource. The BEU has lanched a program of setting question papers for the entrance examination for entry into professional colleges. A beginning has already been made in this direction. The BEU's ultimate aim is to open its own coaching centers in different parts of Tamil Nadu for the benefit of the student who pass out of the schools that have enrolled themselves in the common examinations scheme of the BEU. OfCourse, admission to the center will be wide open to students of other schools also. The coaching centers will be centrally located in 5 or 6 places in the State so that they may serve the needs of students of a few districts grouped around around them.

ENTRANCE COACHING

Coaching is given to the students at various levels to suit their dimensioanl aptitude. The coaching is arranged in two ways.

1.Classes Organised by OPTIM

         coaching for whole academic year in weekend classes and 30 days intensive coaching prior to TNPCEE 2006.The Fee for this sandwich course is Rs.5500/-

         The fee for any one of the course ie. either MBBS or B.E. is Rs.4000/-

2. Individual schools conducting coaching with materials from OPTIM

        OPTIM will supply entrance coaching materials and question bank along with key to the schools for Rs.1200/-.
